Add a new member

Members create their own account by signing up in the members’ app. You can’t create a member account from the admin app. Once they have signed up, you can find them, check them in and give them a membership.

1. Ask them to sign up. They download the members’ app, choose your gym and create an account. See the members’ app guide.
2. Find them. Open Members, type at least 3 letters of their name or email and press Enter. Check their details and that they have signed the Consent Form.
3. Give them a membership. Choose one:
   • Paid membership: they can subscribe themselves in the app, or you can click Create subscription on their member page. See Create a new subscription. You need the membership (read and write) role.
   • Free membership (staff, prizes, offers): use the Full Membership card on their member page. See Give someone free membership.
4. Check that it worked. On their member page, Is Member shows ✅ Yes.

Tip

For a child, the parent signs up and adds the child to their account as an additional participant. The child then appears under the parent on the Members and Attendees pages.
